SOLD - Forest Lane's Midnight Star [12 Images]

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE KENNEDY FAMILY OF CLAYTON, ONTARIO. Alice, will be a large pony. She was born April 2003. She seems to have finished growing and is 14 and a smidge hh (sticked with a line level). She is an easy keeper. Able to go barefoot. Happy to live outside 24/7 or come in at night. Goes out with either mares or geldings. She is very good with voice commands. She has had professional training with Kathleen and Stewart Harrower. She is very light in the bridle. With her age, we've introduced her to ground poles, western bridge etc. but have not pushed her. Goes nicely W & T and gets her leads at the canter just takes a bit of time with the transition. She's forgiving. She has been trailered. Has been in an indoor arena and didn't say boo about ice sliding off the roof etc. Registered APHA breeding stock. She is best suited for performance. She will be an excellent show or family mount with some finishing. She is presently part leased to two girls (12 & 14) who would continue to do so if Alice remained at Forest Lane. Alice is best suited for an intermediate level rider. She would excel as a hunter, games pony or over all family pony. Price reduced for quick sale with some blankets, bridle, etc..

SOLD - Forest Lane's Seeing Stars "Diva" -- Large pony prospect [4 Images]

CONGRATULATIONS To Jump for Joy Equestrian Training Centre. Diva is a very fancy tri-colored fancy pony mare who is 3 and around the 14 hh mark. Breeding thought to be TB x pinto. She is very graceful and floats when she moves. Would not have a problem passing a sport pony inspection. She is primarily a dark bay almost black with 4 high white stockings and a few splashes of white in her mane and across her shoulder. Presently being lightly worked with tack in the round pen(meaning both saddle and bridle) WTC and ready to back. UTD with worming, shots, and farrier work. Trailers and is as quiet as can be, cross ties, clips etc. Level headed, eager to learn. Easy keeper presently outdoors 24/7. No health issues. Presently out with an older mare and a large sport horse.

SOLD - Jacksonville - Reg. APHA - local champ. [5 Images]

CONGRATS. to Laura C. on her becoming a "mom". Best wishes! Jacksonville - you may recognize his name. He's been shown dressage, at various fairs, APHA level shows and the list goes on and on. He is a dark chestnut and white with some flaxen in his mane and tail. Stands just over 15 hh and was born late in 2000 - so rising 7. Excellent showmanship - always placing. 2006 EOPHC Showmanship Challenge over all champ. Also res. high point gelding award for Eastern Ontario Paint Horse Club 2006. Amazing mover with high dressage scores in the mid 70s. Light and responsive to the aids. Easy to extend or collect. Fluid. Has a good "brakes". He is a soft responsive ride and a forward mover so would suggest an intermediate rider with soft hands and knowledge of the aids. Last fall was started over gymnastics and small Xs and verticals to approx. 2 ft 3 (both at T & C). Loves it and shows great form. No vices. Goes barefoot. Has had no health problems. Middle in totem pole. Has been out with a pony stud & other geldings as well. Coggins, shots, etc. UTD.

SOLD - Lukas 3 yr old Perch. x TB [3 Images]

Congratuations to Jessica O. Looking for your next dressage horse or perhaps eventing horse? Take a look at Lukas. Lukas is a rising 3 year old TB x Perch. Jet black (looks bluish black in the sunlight) with a star. He is still growing so has not been pushed. He is expected to finish close to 16 hh and sticks around 15.1 1/2 right now and is higher in the hind end. He has been started on free lunging in the round pen. Sat on bareback without an issue. Now started in long lines with tack. Very ho-hum personality. Clips, bathes, trailers. UTD on everything. Absolutely no vices. Good either with mares or geldings. Presently out with a pony. Happy to live in or out. I had intended on keeping Lukas as a school horse, however, my stallion's busy schedule and farm life don't afford me the time Lukas deserves. Would like him to go to a family in the Ottawa area who will keep me updated on this "big teddy bear". If there is one thing about Lukas is he does react to bug bites so is best with a shelter or indoors during the day. He doesn't run or fuss but has the sensitive tb coat. Price subject to change as training continues.

SOLD - Zip Got Mist (Benjamin) [8 Images]

Congratulations to Bill & Maureen. "Benjamin" is an incredibly laid back fellow. He has the refinement of the TB side of his breeding (Saunders) and the quiet QH mind (Zippo Pine Bar). He is an attractive bay with a white star and unique tiny white anklet behind (with black within the white). Not only has this gelding a winning personality and eagerness to please, he also possesses eye catching movement. Benjamin has been well handled. He's point and shoot to load and loves being the centre of attention. He is bold and curious and loves to play with toys. He has been groomed by children. He's been shown on the line in 2004 and 2005 including larger country fairs. Named overall grand champion gelding at the 2005 UOVQHBF. He's even been to fairs and doesn't mind balloons, strollers, speakers, clowns, midways, etc. etc. He is expected to finish around the 16.2 hh mark. Presently over 15.2 behind. Dec. 2005 had wolf teeth removed. He is registered as an appendix QH (however is often thought to be a sport horse). He's paid into the incentive fund, OQHBF,and UOVQHBF. We've had Benjamin in our hearts since conception date (he's home bred and raised). We are looking for a wonderful show home for him. He has the mind to be a great performance prospect for the upper levels and "A" circuit.
