TRAINING AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Mr. Maple’s harness training took place under the careful guidance of Mr.Wayne Byrne (Munster, ON).Upon returning home to Forest Lane Horse Farm in the spring of 2008, Maple was started under saddle by his owner Celine Hutchison.With less than 30 days under saddle Maple went on to compete at his first dressage show.
By the end of summer 2008 Maple was garnering scores in the 70s with special thanks to Sue Rothgeb (retired FEI judge) and Gerry Ogilvie. He was the 2008 OADG winner of several awards.
This year, 2009, at the trillium level (provincial level) he has been earning scores in the 60s and qualified and showed at the Championships. He received the high score of the day!
